If your venue is large enough or there is a stage this classic 'String of Pearls' arch with either a banner or foil numbers
will create instant impact.
| A smaller archway provides an excellent photo 'frame' for small groups of friends. This is one of our most popular items and can be situated in a quiet corner if there is such a thing! | |

| | Balloon clusters come in many sizes from a group of three suitable as a table arrangement to the floorstanding cluster of seven above which can be positioned at an entrance, either side of the DJ or at the ends of an arch for even bigger effect. Our clusters of ten balloons are very popular and you will find a photo on our 'balloons' page. The giant foil star can be personalised to your requirements. You could choose to have a second written with your school name to stand either side of the photo arch! click here for further ideas |

HINTS & TIPS FOR DECORATING YOUR EVENT The decoration you choose will play an important part in creating the right atmosphere. Take time to think about what you want to achieve. Will it be a sophisticated dinner and dance, a casual disco, a good old knees up, a themed event or something else completely?! Consider the following: 1. Decide how much you are prepared to spend on decoration and build the cost into your budget. Don't just wait and see how much you have left. 2. Think about colour as this can affect the mood of your party: - gold, silver and black all produce a formal, sophisticated effect - a single colour provides BIG impact and can be very effective if done well - most events us a two colour combination sometimes with a third accent colour but if you want a big party pzazz go for an array of bright primary colours - choose jewel colours, purple, sapphire, emerald, fuschia, ruby for a rich, contemporary feel 3. Prioritize the areas of your venue you want to decorate. Your budget may not extend across the entire room. The biggest mistake people make is to spread the decoration too thinly. If you concentrate on the most important area first and do that well, if you then have budget left you move on to look at the next most important area. For instance if you only have £50 to spend you might be temped to put a cluster of three balloons on five of your ten guest tables and stand a personalized foil star next to the DJ. However it would be much better to find an extra £10 and put balloons on every guest table to draw attention to them as the single lonely star will probably not be noticed in the throng of people and is therefore wasted money and if you decorate every table it will create more impact in that area. Areas to consider included guest tables, dance floor, DJ, stage, entrance etc. 4. Remember simple things such as party poppers, streamers and table confetti also help create a party atmosphere and can be colour co-ordinated too. Consider decorating: your guest tables dance floor DJ/stage entrance buffet table photo booth 4. As well as balloons you may wish to consider party poppers, streamers and table confetti. You should check with your venue that all of these are acceptable. 5. Also check whether you can put up a banner and how you will fix it before ordering one. |
